Welcome to the website of the Oregon Skating Council.

The Oregon Skating Council is a group of figure skating clubs in the state of Oregon or in nearby southwest Washington. It is the body that makes many statewide figure skating decisions.

There are currently six member clubs; Carousel Figure Skating Club of Beaverton, Eugene Figure Skating Club of Eugene, Portland Ice Skating Club of Vancouver, Skating Club of Oregon of Portland, Sherwood Figure Skating Club of Sherwood, and Southern Oregon Figure Skating Club of Medford. A main focus of the organization is to encourage unity in the skaters of the area. In addition, the council aims to bring resources to all skaters that no one club could afford.

One of the events that they regularly coordinate is the test session. These enable skaters to move up the ladder in the skating world. More info...
