2nd Annual Frozen 5k – January 31, 2025

Get ready, get set, skate!

EFSC is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Frozen 5k to take place on Friday, January 31, 2025.
Check-in 6:15-6:30 pm and starting line is 6:45 pm.

Celebrate National Skating Month with us and challenge yourself to complete a 5k on ice. Skaters will receive a lap-tracking bib, a medal, and treats. T-shirts will be available for purchase.

All levels and ages are welcome; Go your speed and track your laps – everyone that completes the 5k gets a medal.
Registration will be $25 per skater and there are prizes for skaters that bring in additional donations!

How does our fundraiser work?
Participants register for a spot on the ice, space is limited to 100 skaters. Registered skaters will receive an email with suggested language to send to friends and family for support; the email contains links to information and donation options. Donations are credited to the specific skater and prizes will be given for various fundraising success. EFSC is a 501c3 and donations may be tax deductible.
Participants should check-in and collect their bib 20-30 minutes before starting line. There will be a lane for slow/regular paced skaters and a lane for faster paced skaters. Skaters line up at the starting line in their chosen lane and after some instruction, the starting gun will signal the start of lap counting. Each skater skates 38 laps, moving through the lap-counter area on each lap to get a check mark on their bib. Once they complete 38 laps they go to the medal stand for a completion medal and a picture. As time allows, skaters will be invited back to the ice for games and fun.
